Karen is a great driving instructor, always happy to explain things to you over and over in different ways until you get it. Theres never any judgement with Karen super friendly always got a bit of chat about her. She will never make you do something you don’t feel 100% comfortable doing, all round great instructor couldn’t recommend enough. 10/10
I've had Karen as my instructor for the last few months and she's been a great teacher, and really helped build my confidence. She's really good at picking up on what I need to work on, and giving advice and demonstrations on how to improve in those areas. She picks up on how I learn best, and adapted her teaching to me, which has really helped me drive better and become more confident on the road. She's always able to fit me in her schedule and always has a story to tell when we're out on a drive, couldn't recommend Karen enough.

Amazing driving instructor
Karen has been a great instructor and has made me feel completely comfortable with driving. I have a very busy schedule and she is always happy to work around it to make sure that everything is convenient for me. I have been learning with her for almost a year and with each lesson she has taken me on multiple routes so that I am comfortable driving to and from different parts of the city. At the beginning of our lessons she was able to analyse how I learn best and adapted her teaching methods effectively to ensure that I was given lessons which worked for me. I would recommend Karen to anyone who is looking for a driving instructor.

I would recommend Karen as a driving instructor because; She is always on time or early, She is patient and will always take an appropriate amount of time to explain something. Within safe parameters she pushes you to challenge yourself with your learning, Her organisation is excellent.
When learning to drive with Karen I was driving on possible test routes this was very helpful in growing confidence on certain roads and feeling more at ease on my test. After completing mock tests Karen explains any mistakes you have done and how to eliminate them. I found the way Karen explained things very helpful in a calm and patient manner.

Great driving instructor
Karen has helped out my confidence with driving and has made me feel comfortable while on the road. We cover great amounts in each lesson and I always feel as if I leave a lesson more advanced than I started.

My driving experience with Karen
Karen is an amazing driving instructor who has helped me come so far compared to the start of my driving journey. When I met Karen, I had some experience with a previous driving instructor but was not fully confident in myself when it came to driving yet. Karen helped calm my nerves, never got angry with me and always made sure I was okay if a stressful situation happened.
Above all, Karen improved my confidence with roundabouts in particular which was something I struggled with heavily.
Karen explains things in an easy to understand way and can easily adapt to anyone's learning style. I can't recommend Karen enough. Thank you so much for everything Karen!

Karen is very good at teaching and has been patient with me from the start, helping me not just be able to do what I’m doing but also learn and understand what/why it is done. With me having a tight schedule she has been very flexible and worked around that. We have done a lot of mock test's which has gained me confidence and helped me get over the nerves of a real test. Overall I would highly recommend Karen.

I really enjoyed lessons with Karen. I knew how to drive prior to lessons but I never drove in the UK. I needed a few lessons to get used to driving on the left side which Karen helped with. She explained everything to me very clearly and was patient with my questions. I can recommend her to people who want to learn to drive or just need a refresher.

I’ve really enjoyed my driving experience whilst learning with Karen. She’s very easy to chat too and is an excellent instructor where she asks what you would like to work on and goes into depth on areas you are struggling in. The mock tests we did were very useful leading up to my test and made me more confident in my abilities. I will miss my lessons with her each week!

My amazing experience with KAR-n-DRIVE
I would highly recommend Karen as a driving instructor. She understands how overwhelming driving can be so puts you at ease from day one. Karen always asks what you would benefit from most during each lesson and is happy to go over things as many times as you like. Her vast knowledge and mock tests have really helped to build my confidence in driving over the past few months and she has without a doubt been the perfect instructor for me!

As somebody who gets extremely anxious behind the wheel, Karen managed to push me out of my comfort zone and allowed me to gain a lot more confidence whilst driving. She is very thorough in doing everything she can to prepare you for the big test day, taking you on mock tests, getting you in the right calm mindset, making you a better, safer driver. Best Instructor Ever!
Karen is a lovely, patient and fun lady, she's very helpful and will explain things until I clearly understand everything and she gave me so much knowledge and confidence that I passed driving first time. I would definitely recommend KAR-n-DRIVE to anyone I know. The amount of patience this lady has is unbelievable, even at the hardest moments she's calm and always knows the way out of situations and how to fix them.

Very experienced driver who stays calm when you make mistakes and helps you learn from them, as well as having very good communication when organising lessons. Feel like I came on quickly with her advice and would highly recommend.
I would highly recommend learning with Karen as through my own experiences, she has been very patient through my mistakes and helped me build confidence and calmness when behind the wheel. There is never any pressure to get things perfect first time and it is simply a case of practise makes perfect.

Karen was a reliable and efficient instructor. She will teach you everything you need to learn from A to Z no shortcut. She won't let you sit on your test if she thinks you're not 100% confident to be on your own. I took my test the first time and passed it with 1 minor.
Highly recommend KAR-n-DRIVE
After having another instructor before Karen I can definitely say Karen is one of the best. The way she has helped me manage to get confidence within myself when driving and Karen has also helped me get to the stage where I’m the best driver I can be going into my test. Since starting to learn with Karen I’ve been able to get over my fear of hill starts, improve my clutch control but also improve my steering as before starting with Karen I tended to cross my arms over whilst steering which can be very dangerous.

Return to Driving
I have returned to driving after 10+ years after lacking the confidence to pursue it in my teens. Karen tailors each lesson to reflect your individual learning style. She spots any areas you are struggling to grasp quickly and offers various techniques as a solution to the problem. Karen has a calm approach and is really patient with me whilst I am learning. I would recommend Karen’s Driving School (KAR-n-Drive) and she is teaching me to be more confident on the roads in order to make me a safe driver.

Karen is a fantastic instructor, I wanted to get my license before went to university and she managed to get me passed, thank you so much. X
After a previous test fail and not driving for years, Karen's lessons increased both my skill and confidence on the road massively. She would always make sure I understood everything 100% and was eager to help me improve my drive at every turn. She is much more interested in helping you fix a mistake than ever putting you down for making it.
On top of all this she down-to-earth and easy to talk to which creates a friendly and relaxed environment so you can fully focus on your drive. Karen is both an absolutely fantastic driving instructor and a super nice human being. I whole-heatedly recommend her!

Karen has been teaching me to drive for a while now, she is patience and supportive and an all round excellent instructor. I would definitely recommend.

I have seen such an improvement in my drive and that is due to Karen’s teaching.
Whenever I am unsure of something, Karen always gives good explanations and is patient. She is extremely understanding allowing me to take my lessons and my test in my own car. I would highly recommend Karen to anyone looking for a driving instructor.
I have just passed my driving test today with only 4 minor driving faults. I learned with KAR-n-DRIVE and I would highly recommend Karen to anyone who is wanting to learn to drive and get prepared for a driving test.
Fantastic Experience
Would recommended Karen to anyone in Aberdeen planning on taking driving lessons. After taking a few tests a few years ago, Karen helped me refresh my driving skills and improve on them further to ensure I was comfortable behind the wheel and able to get through the test. Amazing driving instructor!
I was really anxious about starting driving lessons but Karen is helping me to build up my confidence with each and every lesson. I really love the way she approaches the lessons and that she has her own unique way of helping you to learn things too. I would definitely recommend Karen as a driving instructor.
Great Instructor
Karen is a great driving instructor. She's punctual, calm, patient, and won't put you down for making mistakes. I never worry that she might raise her voice at all. If you need something explained again, she's happy to do so. I always feel like I get better at driving after every lesson with her. Highly recommended.

Great driving instructor!
Karen was exactly what you would look for in a driving instructor. She was hands on and supportive and was excellent at explaining some of the more complicated manoeuvres. I passed with no minors thanks to this advice! Would thoroughly recommend!
Excellent driving instructor
My lessons with Karen has taken me from feeling extremely anxious about driving to being very confident in a very short time! Karen is a brilliant instructor, very knowledgable and always explains how and why you need to do things while driving, rather than just telling you. She is very calm and patient, and alleviates any worries you might have while driving, and has great techniques for learning and remembering what you need to. Friendly, patient and professional
Really enjoying my lessons with Karen and feel like I make huge progress by the end of them. She is professional, kind and has alot of knowledge. If you're struggling with something she has a great way of breaking it down and helps you understand what's going on and how to correct it. Would definitely recommend if you want a friendly and knowledgable instructor who is rooting for you to pass.

An Amazing Instructor!!
I thought I just needed a refresher before my driving test so I contacted KAR-n-DRIVE.
Karen assessed my driving skills and created the ideal lesson plan to improve my weaknesses. She was patient and thorough which helped me quickly relaxed during these lessons!

I have been with Karen since March and she has been nothing but supportive and encouraging towards me and my driving. I always feel comfortable and able to ask for help with Karen and I have made so much progress because of this. I needed refresher lessons after not driving for 8 years. Karen is an amazing driving instructor and the way she explained things to me was perfect, I could never fault her. She pushes you to be the best and safest driver. By the end of each lesson I felt much more confident. Thanks Karen for making such a big difference in helping me to build my confidence.

In my first lesson she made me feel confident, makes me feel really calm and safe when I’m driving and stays calm when i make mistakes and always talks everything through. I would highly recommend Karen to anyone begging or learning to drive, couldn’t recommend a better instructor!

Karen was an absolute superstar instructor and I can’t imagine there being anyone better in Aberdeen. For anyone who needs a calm, assured and knowledgeable guide through their lessons, Karen is the perfect instructor for them.

Karen is an excellent driving instructor and I'm so happy that I'm doing my lessons with her. She makes me feel really calm and safe when I'm driving even if I start to get nervous and panic a little. She always gives me praise on what I have done well or tips on improvements I can make when we are out on the roads. She has always put her trust and belief into me which has really helped towards her growing my confidence on the road. I would recommend Karen to anyone beginning or learning to drive! I can't wait for her to be with me when I do my test but I will really miss her once I've finished my lessons.

5 Star Driving Instructor, passed 1st time with 3 minors. :)
When I started I was really nervous but after a little amount of time Karen made me feel comfortable behind the wheel and she makes it feel like such a relaxed environment! She's also such a relaxed and kind person which makes it even better.
I passed my test with Karen today and she was excellent from very first lesson to the very last one before my test. Really easy and quick to learn off and couldn’t have made it easier, thank you for everything.
Karen was a great instructor, I passed with only 1 minor, couldn’t have done it without her.
Had another lesson today and feel my confidence is growing each time. Karen is a very friendly and helpful instructor and I’m excited to continue my lesson with her.

I am really enjoying my lessons with Karen, and can't recommend her enough. She has really helped me with my confidence, and since I started lessons with her, after changing from another instructor, I have come on leaps and bounds. I am older than a lot of her students and Karen has been very patient with me and really helped me believe I can do it. I have gone from absolutely dreading driving lessons, to really enjoying them. After having 3 previous driving instructors I found Karen to be the best. She was calm and so helpful at explaining things. I had a real fear of roundabouts before I had my lessons with Karen and she helped cure the fear to pass first time.

Thank you to the most amazing driving instructor ever! Karen has managed to take me from a nervous wreck to being a safe, confident and competent driver. She has always been patient when I've had a meltdown and has never missed an opportunity to challenge me when I've needed that push to believe in myself.
